Artist Statement
I work to contribute to the visual conversations of our
time.
I create art as a visual diary of my life.
I want my work to achieve a moment for the viewer, where
their perceptions may be changed. Work that forces them
to reflect on where they are, where they go, what they find
and who they become in the process.
I create art as my 'joie de vivre' and a 'joie de vivre'
for others.
I create art to free myself and in finding my freedom,
can the viewer find that as well.
I find inspiration in endeavors that communicate meaningful
visual messages, using whatever medium is the most appropriate
.
I received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in NYC
and currently live and work in Long Island City |
