José Javier
González , a self-taught photographer and poet, was
born in Madrid, Spain. Since 2005 he has exhibited his work
in Madrid, Marseille, and Sweden, and wrote the following
poetry books: “¿Sirve de algo un poco de amor?”,
“Antigona”, “Recogidos” y “Resistencia”.
His photography evolves inside the interest for texture
and form, the definition or the faint of this one in the
space.
He creates images going beyond the purely descriptive,
provoking interest and achieving that the spectator detains
his look.
In his Blog "The Drift of the Shade/La Deriva de la
Sombra" he exposes a sample of his photography and
poetry works.
He has realized multiple collaborations with Spanish and
foreigners electronic magazines (JHON Magazine, Nachtvlinder,
…), front cover photos for poetry books and published
photographic series in literature magazines. His work has
been exhibited collectively and individually.
He currently lives and works in Madrid, Spain.
